As a ministry to serve other ministries we are very sensitive to providing affordable and impactful events for your group. It was great to see a consistent return of over 80% of our groups from previous years! It is always fun to run into you when we are "in town". And even more fun to reconnect with you year after year down at the river! Come on back and let us share a cool drink down by the river together. 56% of our groups last year were new to us! What we offer
At Living Waters, our ministry focus is to support other ministries. We are not a commercial livery. We actively support your outreach and discipleship objectives with our structure, facilities, leadership and pricing. Our Board is likewise committed to providing affordable opportunities for families. All group trips are accompanied with a Living Waters volunteer to assure a fun and safe trip. Canoeing: We own 20 kayaks and 120 canoes (we can access more in some cases). We provide both local livery and livery to and from both partnering camps. We float on a secluded section of the river with excellent water.
Lodging: We partner with both Windermere and Camping in Paradise. That gives us the flexibility to provide your group a range of options; tent camping, RV hookups, cabins, dormitories, resort and hotel amenities. State parks are nearby as well. Please go ahead make these arrangements for your group.
Diversions: Rock walls, rope courses, swimming pools, trails, horseback riding, a full service marina, and the full range of outdoor sports are all available based on time and facility choice. Food: You can arrange a meal plan that is convenient for your group whether you want meals available for your entire stay, all on your own or somewhere in between. Canoes: Pricing is just $17.00 per person with a $62.00 Family Maximum. We can also offer a Ziploc River Lunch for $5.00 each.
